A PR picture needs to be more than just a nice photograph. Newspaper editors like pictures with impact or that tell a story and if you look at photographs in the local press you'll see they are very similar, lots of high view points , people standing in a semi circle usually holding something in front of them. Or if there are kids involved the adults are usually kneeling down
So how to tell a story for a new service from Leamington based recruitment agency Fuel HR?
Fuel HR are ofering a new service for employees who have been made redundant and part of that service includes retraining so it seemed logical to show something from the training course.
Photographing computer screens never works, the screen comes out too dark and you can get flicker from the screen. If you use flash it invariably relects off the nice shiny computer. So you cheat. One picture of the subjects , Helen Cooney & Murray West , one of the screen and stick it all together in Photoshop
And for the other picture? If you tilt the camera it usually looks more interesting.
