If you can't decide between a church wedding and a civil ceremony, then a posh hotel with it's own church (alright then a chapel) isn't a bad idea. Hayley told me she''d fallen in love with Wroxall Abbey because of the chairs …… because they were all rather nice and unique not the usual conference centre chairs you get, but to be fair the venue, grounds, food and staff aren't bad either.
They also told me they weren't that keen on being photographed, actually most couples tell me that and it's part of my job as a photographer to earn that bit of trust with my clients so they feel relaxed on the day. What Hayley and Jon definiely did want was some images of the Abbey and surroundings with them in, so it was a bit disappointing when imemdiately after the ceremony it started to rain.
Not a problem, everyone pitched in to help rearrange sofas in the loounge and of course as soon as we had all the group shots safely captured the rain started to ease off. So quick change of shoes and we ventured outside
Here are some images from the day
